It was Maya’s Rose Ceremony for her first day of First Grade!!! What a big day for her! It happened to be Grandpas birthday today. And yesterday was Papa Sedo’s birthday too.
The honolulu Waldorf school website has a description of the Rose ceremony.
Sawyer will start his first day of kindergarten tomorrow too. So today he had to go to the nanny all by himself. Tomorrow he will be starting in Mrs Cindy Sydow’s kindergarten class. The same teacher Maya had. (She reminds me a lot of Eva. Take a look at Maya’s graduation pictures from the family blog by searching graduation in the search box and you’ll see the picture.)

Wow! Congratulations! That is a big deal. Somehow after they are in first grade time seems to accelerate at a incomprehensible speed.
