Another busy weekend
Thanks Armine and Alex for helping watch Maya and paint her room. …We had enough paint left over from the last time so we decided to paint one wall yellow. Will send photos soon, it looks nice.
Maya and daddy also went down to the beach on Saturday evening and checked out all the bicycle and roller bladers.

She’s growing up so fast!
Maya’s finally old enough to start heading out on her own. Mommy and daddy were taking WAYYY! Too long to get the bottle ready. If you want something done right you have to do it yourself.
She’s so independent! …Makes a father proud!! 😉 […tear]

Maya’s enjoying her new room!
Mommy put the finishing touches on Maya’s room today. Take a look it looks really nice. Make sure you tell mommy how nice it looks. She worked really hard on it.
This was the beautiful red sunset this evening. Couldn’t help sharing.

Maya finally had it! …she kicked us out of her room
With Maya’s help Mommy and Daddy finally found the courage to sleep in their own room! It was scary with all those monsters in the closet without Maya to protect us, but we got through it. We only had to run into Maya’s room a couple times throughout the night.
Pictures: 1,2: Maya getting her 6 month hand print in clay! 3: Maya’s plumeria tree blooming with its first plumeria flowers! 4,5: some funny pictures of daddy that Alex and Armine came across at Alex’s 10 year Highland Hall reunion.
We did a few hand prints and by the end, Maya was slapping her hand down on the table ready for the next one!

Our first kinda-long trip! …to Santa Barbara!
Our Visit to Santa Barbara to meet little Alastair and jump on the trampoline. I sent some of this day in pictures before, but here are new ones that are all great too! Check them out in the gallery on the website. Enjoy!
Just FYI… This was our first long trip and everything seemed to go well with the drive, she slept most of the way. As soon as we got there, this is when we noticed that the baby’s bottom teeth were coming out! Maya met Alastair and showed off her newly discovered art of Crawling. We all took a walk to the beach park then started heading home. It was a short trip, but we packed the fun in!
