Maya and Sawyer Rock’n out on the Ukulele

Maya and Sawyer were practicing ukulele together on the couch, and I managed to catch this little jam session they did together. So hard to catch these little jewels, so I’m happy i was able to be able to share it.

I got Some of Maya’s Aikido practice on video, and Sawyer is starting too!

She is getting pretty good at those roles. Sawyer started at the beginning of August too.

I hope you can see both of these videos and it’s not too big. Sawyer and Maya are in the second video practicing together.

Check out sawyer stretching on the back right in the photo. Debbi tells me this is her favorite part. 😉

Maya’s Orange Belt Aikido Ceremony – So Beautiful!

Maya received her orange belt in Aikido!!! And just in time… She is about to start her first hula practices with Uncle which means she will be changing her instructors at the Aikido school because she will be switching aikido days. Uncle is Debbi’s hula instructor from LA. Mommy will be joining hula again in a different class. She hasn’t been in hula since she was pregnant with Sawyer!

I hope the video comes through. So beautiful to watch.

Sawyer’s Super Hero Landing

Sawyer has been doing this thing for more than a year now and I’ve finally been able to capture it on video to share… and also figure out what it’s called.

This is a video of Sawyer trying to teach us how to do the super hero landing. And in case you wanted to know more about it. Here are some famous super hero landings YouTube video…

https://youtu.be/Lp8z1Vu-J5E

To be fair to Maya, her first landing was very similar to this Three point landing… She’s got skills too you know!
Especially this one in the matrix.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCjhh0h7RSM

2019 New Years Eve – Rope Swing!!?

We went to the beach on New Year’s Eve and before we went back to the house in the evening we stopped quickly at a friend’s rope swing along the river. Yes ROPE SWING….

I had no idea what we were getting into. But our friend Raymond assured us it was “great fun”???!! When we got there and saw how big the swing was I was thinking to myself “no way!”. Then sawyer jumped on and did it… in complete disbelief I watched and totally forgot to record the first swing. I asked Sawyer to do it again so I could record it. After he did it a second time Sawyer reminded me that I said I would do it after him… thanks a lot for the reminder! 😉

I figured if sawyer could do it. I should be able to do it also… right??? Well as you can see, somehow we both did it. We were trying to get Maya to try too but maybe next time. She did practice a bit on the dry rope swing though.

I converted some of the videos to animated gifs that you May have to view in your web browser. I’ll try to send them next but the file size was very large for some reason. Take a look and enjoy!

TV In a Waldorf House :(

We did this before a while ago. But it’s getting more sophisticated. This time Maya had scripts and a remote to change the channels. Although Sawyer was hog-cheesing the remote!! 😉

Enjoy! Hope the video is not too big.
