How would you know you have brain fog if you’re in the fog?
I just read this article and realized I’ve had inflammation my entire life!!!! MY LIFE HAS REALLY BEEN JUST A BIG FOG!! It describes all the symptoms since as far back as I can remember and probably before then. …I think it easy to think the problem is within you, which probably just creates a downward spiral.
I’m convinced this is all due to sugar (or bread or alcohol, ehhhemmm! Samira). But is this something I’m supposed to have figured out on my own? Basically why didn’t our parents (mom) prepare us with the knowledge to navigate through this “brain fog” battle.
It seems like brain fog just slows people down from addressing challenges and making choices in their lives… It’s not TV! It’s sugar!. It’s like going in to fight a battle with a stick. I feel like I’ve been cheated of the first half of my life… Ok maybe two thirds 😉 …Not completely a waste of time of course… But imagine what I could have accomplished had I been equipped with a big ass sword!!! or a bow and arrow.
Do our kids have to learn this on their own, or can we prepare them to go into life by understanding how important it is to eat healthy. Sugar is a pretty powerful enemy since it gets into their brains and triggers addictive hormones before they even know how to defend themselves. At least dairy seems pretty obvious to me.
The reality is that I think some people handle sugar better than others. WAIT!!! That’s not true… I should say that some people have a tendency to crave more sugars than others. Once you crave sugars early in life maybe it’s over, because at that early age you don’t have the knowledge or wisdom to be able to fight that battle between your brain and sugar.
OK!!! This is really a fascinating exploration for me. Is it too late for me? Can I reset it?? Forget about me, is it too late to think about the early affects on Maya and Sawyer or has the seed / infection already been planted? Do they already crave sugar too much to go back so that they don’t have that pre disposition to crave sugars.
Am I on the wrong track?? Or am I on to something. How do you know until you explore a little more. What do you guys think??
