Maya made us some beautiful cards and portraits as gifts for Easter. We had such a blast painting eggs on Saturday and doing our egg hunt in Babcia’s garden on Sunday.
It sure beat our tiny garden patio in Santa Monica. We miss Babcia a lot, especially this weekend for her birthday. We made deviled eggs and gluten/dairy-free blueberry banana pancakes for breakfast. Auntie Samira then gave the kids a couple of darling chick magnets, literally:)

Maya and Mama Junko made a true haku, or woven, lei today. Even Mommy was impressed by the craftsmanship! Then they played pirate w Papa Tomo’s surgery dew rag thing.

We took a trip to Descanso Gardens on vernal equinox to see the cherry blossoms in bloom and take the train ride through the gardens after a beautiful breakfast with Papacito and Rosie. Then we had a great dinner with Uncle Roman and Aunt Joan. Maya made some cool glasses out of play sticks with Aunt Joan.
