…some random weekend. Chasing a bouncing ball…

…just two little white anchovies. Yeah great place to start her on meat 😉 It was only because she was curious and apparently the “white” are not that salty. We told her it was fish, she hesitated a little but then after she saw us eating it she “conformed”. Maybe it’s cruel of me, but it was cute to see her hesitate, like… You’re not supposed to eat fish. It almost broke my heart to corrupt her and to see her fighting against her natural intuition. Welcome to the big cruel world.
She has had mayonnaise, soup and stew with beef broth, also bone marrow soup too which she didn’t like at all. But this was the first deliberate meat that she ate.
Completely unrelated photos though… Enjoy!

Here are some more photos of our trip to Monterey a couple weekends ago for Costa’s funeral gathering.
At the last minute we decided to run through the aquarium in 45 minutes, and we’re glad we did. It was an amazing experienced for maya and also Sawyer. They both loved it. I really thought sawyer was too young to enjoy it but I was wrong as usual.
Maybe the most expensive aquarium I’ve ever been too at $40 a person, but the kids were below the age limit so they didn’t have to pay. Good thing too because they don’t have any money, they would have had to wait outside for us.

I usually don’t like these kind of pictures. …But there was no posing at all. She put those glasses on herself and grabbed the keys. I swear. I couldn’t pass it up.

We went to see Papa Sedo and aunti Samira at Babcia’s for a hibachi BBQ and Babcia took the kids around on Alex’s rehabilitated second hand wagon.
The BBQ was pretty delicious but we still need to work on the ground chicken yakitori.

Want to know what it’s like looking down the barrel of a 9 oz bottle? We do it every day… You need nerves of steel … it’s definitely not for the faint of heart.
…oh, I forgot… most of you already did it. You know what I’m talking about then.

This one might seem boring to many of you so just jump to the pictures.

We went to John Adams Middle School near the house. The field got converted to a turf grass a fee years ago so they don’t have to water it anymore. Seems so unnatural, but it’s actually very sustainable… The grass is always green now and it gets used all the time.
Maya’s feet got all black from the rubber gravel pellets… But it was softer so as she was running and she fell, she just got back up and started running again.

We figured out how to keep Maya’s Tina Turner hair style under control.
