Maya Singing Sawyer’s lyrics. Dee-dee-dahh Dee-dee-dee-dahh Dee-Dee…

This is actually a song that Sawyer came up with on his own a couple weeks ago. He sings it in the car when we are driving around, thanks to not having the radio on to get in the way of their creativity. 😉 But Maya added the ukulele to it and made an amazing piece with it. I hope you guys can get this video through the email since it’s pretty long.

Debbi and I somehow were able to get an amazing deal for these beautiful ukuleles from the Aloha stadium swap meet around section 6 in case anyone wants to pick one up. We got two of these for $45 a piece. What a great deal and what a learning experience for the kids. They’ve been looking up to Axel playing his guitar. So this is all due to Axel’s example. Thanks Axel!!!

Maya and Sawyer’s Wedding

Check out this amazing sketch Maya just did. She threw up (we think it’s a stomach flu), then the next thing I knew she was showing me this amazing drawing shortly after, my jaw dropped. It must have been some kind of emotional release! 😉

Sawyer is on the right.

They had no idea…

Note that you can’t see the McDonald’s logo anywhere. 🙂

That’s the first time and hopefully the last. Maya’s stomach was hurting so we wanted to give her potatoes.

From a boy to a MAN… ;)

Too much hair in the eyes. But I will miss the long wavy hair. I know Junko will too. 🙁

This is my project on Cahuenga Blvd. It’s almost done. It’s going to be a creative office space.

Maya and Sawyer Close-ups

…while we were at the restaurant eating fish and chips. That’s tartar sauce all over Sawyer’s face. Next time we do close ups I’ll try to wash their faces first.

And no that’s not Coke. It’s just water.

Guess who these two characters are?

This was from the San Diego Wold Life park. Can you guess who these characters are?

These were photos from when the artist was drawing them.

Maya reading bedtime stories to Sawyer

This is what I walked into the room to find. Mommy knocked out cold, Maya reading stories to Sawyer before bedtime.

What’s amazing is that Maya has pretty much memorized all of the stories in the mother goose book. It’s probably about 20 plus short stories in there.

Sawyer asked to pee on the toilet

The day before yesterday Sawyer asked to Pee on the toilet twice.

I attached a video that Debbi took of Sawyer and Maya playing basketball with Axel.
