Maya enjoying home made dairy free ice cream and Sawyer with daddies neck brace

Today Maya said she swung on the swing all by herself. The kind where you have to push yourself by swinging your feet and body, you know what I mean.

Daddy fell on his head while playing basketball last Saturday. Well, I really got flipped upside down while I was jumping into the air and running. Not good. Didn’t loose consciousness but that would have made it a lot easier ;). Sawyer was trying on the neck brace that I was using for my neck whiplash. Mommy was kind enough to come home from work in Sunday a little early and drop me off to get a massage and help the headache go away.

Maya asked so nicely for some ice cream that I couldn’t resist. And she patiently waited until the weekend for it. We made blueberry vanilla this time. She asked me to take a picture of her eating it.

BTW. Sawyer is developing super fast still. His hand eye coordination is impressive. I’ll try to send some more pictures and videos.

Elif,Michael, Oya & Ada Visiting from Turkey

Elif and Michael took the long drive from Michaels brothers house in Azusa to check out Tongva Park in Santa Monica. Michael is a landscape designer in Turkey now! So he enjoyed taking pictures of the park.

The kids played in the park, splashed in the water and then we ate o-Musubi for dinner. We caught a glimpse of the sunset, saw a drone overhead and had fun.

Ada and Oya crashed out on the way home.

GENTLE FEET PLEASE! …Okay bye…

Do any of you notice the horns on Sawyer’s head?

BTW. If you are wondering what the pillows are doing on the floor… The kids were running back and forth between the living room and the bedroom and I told them to stop running or use gentle feet. Then maya laid every pillow she could get her hands on on the floor and started running again… Much more quietly though!! πŸ˜‰ I can’t believe they still listen to me. That won’t last.

The weekends are especially difficult because we spend the morning at home and the landlord who just happens to be our neighbor, is not happy about the foot drums pounding on the floor at 7am.

How does he manage to get his face so Dirty…

We went to garden with Gene at the house on Saturday while mommy worked and packed the house a bit.

Sawyer found a nice juicy tomatoes to chomp down on. …Why does he eat the tomatoes in the garden but he doesn’t always eat the tomatoes in his salad???? Hmmm.

Axel tried to learn to play the “rubber ban man” song for us while maya and Sawyer sat in the wheel barrel.

I’ll send some more photos. Just could send them all in this email…

Sawyers nightmare

Yesterday Sawyer had his first nightmare / dream?

He woke up screaming “there’s a dog in my room! There’s a dog in my room!!” So I rushed in and asked him “did he want to play with you?”

Then he said, “…and a horse”. He kept saying that a few more times and somewhere in there he mentioned there was a balloon too.

I shot these photos yesterday morning too.

First time at the beach!! …thats only a half a mile away

We go to the beach all the time, but this was the first time we braved the polluted waters that mommy always warns us about. …Other people did too!

We went to the annenberg beach house fountains and there were a lot of parties going on there. Just fyi. Probably a good place to have a party.

Then we went to the beach and played in the waves. They had a blast.

Ok. Maybe he’s yawning… πŸ˜‰ Maya insisted on wearing her bunny hat today. Your really never know what to expect with kids.
