This was a big one! You made it to the half way club 😉 or as Samira says… “Foteee!”
If anyone has any photos from the dinner reply and attach and I’ll make sure they’re posted to the blog.

…we saw this pretty cool tight rope walker at the beach. It looks like he’s walking on air.
Check out these doodles that Sawyer has been doing here and there. I have more but I wanted to start sharing them before I lose track of them all. I’ll send some of the earlier versions soon.
The garden that Samira is too busy to work on is finally getting some love thanks to Gene Foxes mastery. John gave us some pretty nice genius tips of his too that we’ll probably be implementing sometime in the future.
I convinced myself that getting injuries like my sprained / broken? finger just means I’m still young at heart. I guess it helps me deal with the psychological pain while I type on my keyboard.

By some string of fate we were able to meet up with Daisuke, Sharon, Sean and Dais’ parents Kozo & Noriko Tanigaki who were visiting from Japan and happen to be at the main st farmers market in Santa Monica.
Thanks Dais and Sharon for the balloons for the kids!

Always a wonderful thing to see when you wake up in the morning. This puzzle was exceptionally challenging because she managed to empty both her and sawyers drawers. So I had to sort through everything while I was putting it back.
Btw. She’s usually trying to find a dress or something when she does this.

This was on the way to Mona’s birthday party at Babcia’s house on Saturday.

Maya is learning acting from Gene Fox… By example of course. This is her showing off her new talents in front of the camera. She asked me to take a picture of her and then she put on this face.

Maya and Sawyer spent as much time as possible with their Hawaii cousins Sydney, Taylor and Alex. Hiking, dinner outings, going to the beach and most importantly eating Acai bowls.
Sydney had a pretty busy week with her eighth grade graduation on Friday and her 14 year birthday party on Saturday the day before we left.
You can see how tired Maya gets after the beach. She was zoning out after getting into the car from Waikiki beach. Even though we were talking to her she didn’t move from this photo.
Also take a look at another one of Sawyer’s doodle master pieces. He loves doing these on any piece of paper but mostly in receipts so I decided to start documenting them. You can’t get more honest expressive art than that.
