Unfortunately we had to take our first road trip on not such great news. My
“uncle” Costa Bahu (through my grandmother) past away on May 6th, who was I believe 86. I was going to go up with just Maya, but Debbi didn’t feel like separating the two of them was a good idea since they’ve been best pals
since Sawyer was first born. Also we decided to keep everyone together
would be better anyway.
It was going to be a long 6 hour trip so we dropped them in the car at their nap times. They slept for a couple hours (which was long) before we got almost to Bakersfield area. We stopped at the rest stop because Sawyer woke up and started crying.
Coincidentally papa Sedo Rose and Amo Chawki was just 20 minutes behind
us… And Michelle Bahu and his family were right behind him.

Mommy was surprised how well they both did on the ride. Right before this
rest stop when Sawyer woke up from nap was the most crying on the trip.
